Scary scene at the Memorial Cup
This is something you never want to see. In a round-robin game at the memorial cup between the Peterborough Petes and the Kamloops Blazers, a player has been stretchered off the ice.
Kyle Masters of the Kamloops Blazers taken off on a stretcher after landing awkwardly into the end boards on a hit from Brennan Othmann.
Othmann goes over to Masters to wish him well. Blazers Coach Shaun Clouston loses his mind on officials for allowing him to do that.

Petes forward Brennan Othmann takes Blazers Kyle Masters into the boards, and Masters falls awkwardly and needs to be stretchered off the ice. With the game out of hand, Othmann goes over to wish Masters well, and the Kamloops coach isn't happy.
I hope he's okay; you never want to see anything like this happen in a hockey game.
