Fanatics just signed their jersey deal to become the official provider of on ice jerseys worn in the NHL and they can't quality control their own product.
When fanatics signed a 10 year deal to be the official on ice jersey of the National Hockey League in March starting with the 2024-25 season, fans knew it would be a colossal failure while they hoped they would work on fixing what made their products so bad. The season hasn't even started yet and Fanatics has proven they still don't care at all.
According to a fan account on X by the name of @PucksOnDave, the new Steven Stamkos Nashville Predators jersey is all kinds of wrong, even going so far as to be missing a letter at the end of his name.
I've never seen a company give less of a shit about quality control than
@Fanatics
. The major pro sports leagues are part of the problem too as they take the money and go with them. The disrespect to the fans that pay hard earned money for merchandise is truly shocking.
It looks like Fanatics won't be stepping up their game of improving the quality of their products.
Gary Bettman has not been good for the NHL in a long time and a 10 year run of having Fanatics authentic jersey's prove that more than ever.
update: There are now reports this might be a clever edit.
