The Nashville Predators have not been nearly as good as anyone expected this season and now Jonathan Marchessault has caused drama by calling out Andrew Brunette.

The Nashville Predators have severely underperformed this season and frustration has continued to mount leading to division and anger within the Predators locker room.

Tonight that frustration and anger continued this time involving star forward Jonathan Marchessault.

During Marchessault's post-game press conference, he was asked about what went wrong as the Predators dropped yet another game.

Without much hesitation, Marchessault called out the team's lack of consistency in its lines, saying he went through warmups with one line, and the lines were already changed by the opening puck drop.

This seems to be a direct call out at head coach Andrew Brunette who has struggled to find chemistry between the abundance of star players that GM Barry Trotz was able to bring to Smashville.

Of course, Marchessault knows a thing or two about being a part of a successful team when he was with the Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights.

With the Predators struggling and clearly trying to contend immediately a discussion begins regarding how long Andrew Brunette's future with the team.

Will Barry Trotz fire Andrew Brunette after the Predators monumental struggles?

After coming into the season with Stanley Cup aspirations the Nashville Predators currently find themselves 15th out of 16 teams in the Western Conference.

With the additions of Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Marchessault, and Brady Skjei to go along with the already talented Nashville Predators group they likely should be a guaranteed playoff team.

Due to the team's drastic underperformance something seems like it has to change to just get momentum going in the right direction.

Likely this change would have to be Barry Trotz deciding to part ways with Andrew Brunette.

If the decision is not made soon the incredible roster that was built in Nashville could be doomed to fail before they even get their season off the ground in a positive direction.

As the season continues on we will be following this situation and providing all the latest updates.
