NHL Department of Player Safety announces multiple fines after Lightning versus Rangers game
Last night's Tampa Bay Lightning/New York Rangers game got a little chippy and because of that the National Hockey League Department of Player Safety has announced some ramifications from incidents that occurred during the game.
Tampa Bay Lightning Left Winger Alex Killorn was fined $5,000; the maximum allowable under the CBA, for slashing New York Rangers Goaltender Igor Shesterkin. Killorn has skated in 78 games this season contributing 25 goals and 36 assists to go along with 41 penalty minutes
DPOS also released news that New York Rangers Defenceman Adam Fox has also been fined $5,000; the maximum allowable under the CBA, for slashing Tampa Bay Lightning Right Winger Corey Perry. Fox, has participated in 78 games scoring 12 goals while adding 58 assists and 34 penalty minutes.
