With the Ottawa Senators currently for sale, there's been lots of interest from high profile people, mainly celebrity Ryan Reynolds, but it seems as if another A-list actor is now interested in Ottawa.
According to TSN's Brent Wallace and Yahoo Sports, Dwayne «The Rock» Johnson is interested in being a part of the ownership group that buys the Senators as well, take a look:
Wallace reports that The Rock is interested in being part of Neko Sparks Group, who currently willing to pay more than 950 million dollars to acquire the Senators while appearing on the radio show Coming in hot.
One of the biggest, well-known people on the planet could possibly be a part of the face of your franchise. I think that's a pretty big deal, and I think the Neko Sparks group has him in their corner
With the interest from Neko Sports Group, if they were to acquire the Senators, there is a possibility the Reynolds joins them as Johnson and Reynolds are friends.
We'll see where this goes, but having both The Rock and Reynolds being part of the new ownership group for the Sens would be a sight to see
