Ryan Reaves appears to fall down some stairs after getting hurt
During the first period of tonight's game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Columbus Blue Jackets, Ryan Reaves suffered what appears to be a serious ankle injury. The injury appeared to happen after Reaves cut a rut and slammed hard into the boards.
After being helped off the ice, Reaves looks to try and gut out the pain and walk down the tunnel. Unfortunately for Reaves it appears he bit off more than he could chew, as his ankle appears to give way. In this video Reaves appears to take a tumble down the stairs as he heads down towards the Leafs room.
Hopefully this fall didn't make any injury suffered any worse, but this looks rough and begs the question. Who the hell put stairs there?
