Ryan Reaves appears to suffer serious injury, unable to put any weight on his leg
When the Toronto Maple Leafs added Ryan Reaves they had high hopes for the rugged enforcer. Unfortunately for the Leafs, the dream of adding toughness to the team has been a nightmare. Reaves has been in and out of the lineup for the Leafs and has already been the focus of waiver rumors.
Leafs fans have been extremely hard on Reaves, but the charismatic enforcer has been unbothered. After sitting out a game against the New York Rangers drew back into the lineup tonight. Unfortunately for Reaves midway through the first period his poor skating caught up to him.
As Reaves skates towards the boards be appears to catch an edge and collides hard with the wall.
After the collision Reaves tries to skate off the ice but is unsuccessful. After being seen by the team trainer, Reaves has to be helped off the ice by teammates. Hopefully this isn't as bad as it looks, but this doesn't look good for Reavo.
