First photo of Morgan Barron and his 75 stitches surfaces after Game 1
During the first period of Game 1 between the Vegas Golden Knights and Winnipeg Jets, forward Morgan Barron suffered a significant cut. The incident occured during a scramble in the crease when Chandler Stephenson gave Barron a shove from behind sending him face first into the skate of Laurent Brossoit.
The skate impacted Barron on the side of the head leaving a gapping cut. Barron was rushed to the locker room where he would undergo repairs. It would take nearly an entire period but medical staff were able to get Barron stitched up.
75 stitches later he returned to the bench and the game.
After the game Barron was made available for media and showed off the wound near his eye. The 75 stitches were part of a major repair and during a regular season game he likely doesn't return, but this is the playoffs.
Like a hockey player Barron only had 1 concern however. Did he score?
It's great to know Barron is alright after this horrifying play.
