Winnipeg may be missing another major name in uphill battle against Vegas
With the Winnipeg Jets now down 3-1 in their first round series against the Vegas Golden Knights, the news gets even worse for the team. Mark Scheifele left game 3 last night after crashing into the boards following a trip by Golden Knights goaltender Laurent Brossoit. There was no call on the play.
Scheifele did not leave the game right away, However, moments later, with his team in the powerplay, Scheifele attempted a slap shot, and the went straight down the tunnel holding his arm. He did not return.
The Jets have promised an update on Scheifele's condition today. Winnipeg is already missing Nikolaj Ehlers, Josh Morrisey, and Cole Perfetti. Scheifele's absence would be another blow to an already deteriorated team.
