Some of the rough stuff taking place in tonight's game between the Colcumbus Blue Jackets and Montreal Canadiens, with a hit leading to two players dropping the gloves.
Not even five minutes into the first period, and Arber Xhekaj was not happy after he was drilled from behind by Dmitry Voronkov, who is playing in his vey first NHL game after being drafted in the fourth round in 2019. Xhekaj was not happy with the hit and dropped his gloves as soon as he got to his feet. Voronkov managed to get his off and the two went at it. Xhekaj took a couple extra swings after Voronkov went down hard.
Xhekaj received a minor penalty for roughing following the incident, while Voronkov got the extra two for boarding. Both received the standard five for fighting.
