Boston Bruins prospect left leaking and confused after dropping the gloves
Fighting is a lost art in professional hockey. The number of fights decreases every year and seeing a true fighter has become a rarity. When it comes to the art of dropping the gloves you have to respect any player who is willing to put their body on the line for their teammates or the fans.
That's exactly what Boston Bruins prospect Marc McLaughin tried to do on Sunday. Unfortunately for McLaughlin dropping the gloves comes with its risks, something he learned very quickly. McLaughlin ate some hard shots before being rocked. Seconds later McLaughlin found himself on the ice with officials waiving over the medical staff.
When medical staff got to McLaughlin he was already drenched in how own blood, but when more concerning it appears he has no idea where he's going. McLaughlin appears lost on the play, unsure where to go, not once or twice, but multiple times.
McLaughlin eventually makes his way off the ice with medical staff and he didn't return to the game with a suspected head injury. Hopefully his injuries sustained aren't serious.
