Cole Smith isn't putting up with Sammy Blais, jumps Blais after a dirty slash
Sammy Blais is at his best when he's playing an agitator role and being physical. Usually that's something that Blais is able to get away with, but today Blais learned that Cole Smith wasn't a fan of Blais' extracurricular.
After Blais is tripped to the ice by Smith, he decides to deliver a slash to the ankle of Smith. Smith wasn't having it and immediately dropped his gloves and went after Blais. Blais was barely able to get his gloves off before Smith landed a shot. An off balance Blais fell to the ice as Smith landed a couple extra shots.
Despite gloves being dropped both players only received 2 minute minors for roughing while Smith got the extra 2 minutes for tripping.
