The National Hockey League is going into the holiday break a full day full of games and one thing they have not been is boring. In fact, the fireworks don't show any signs of stopping.
Early in the first period of the game between the Boston Bruins and Minnesota Wild, two of the best at throwing them drop the gloves and they did not disappoint; take a look.
Brandon Duhaime and Jakub Lauko with quite the tussle, first Duhaime takes the advantage, then Lauko fired back with a response of his own. Next the two combatants start throwing with reckless abandon and both connect with some really good shots.
Say what you want about fighting in hockey if you're on the bench for either team during that fight it's sure to inject a little energy into your game. That's part of what makes fighting amazing. The momentum it creates. Especially when you have a fight of the year candidate as well.
