Last night the Toronto Maple Leafs are visiting the Columbus Blue Jackets and in the second period Simon Benoit gets in the face of rookie sensational Adam Fantilli and is forced to answer the bell
Off the draw Erik Gudbranson forces Benoit to drop the gloves after his brief conversation with Fantilli; take a look.
Gudbranson makes Benoit pay for having a conversation with Fantilli, but it wasn't without fireworks. Benoit went in for the super man punch off the hop and that was really the only punch he threw in the entire fight.
I don't know that there should've been a fight after something like that, but Fantilli certainly appreciated the veteran standing up for him.
