Michael Pezzetta dominates Zach MacEwan in Throwback Tilt
Montreal's Michael Pezzetta dominates Ottawa's Zach MacEwan in a Thursday night tilt.
For the first time this season, the Montreal Canadiens took on the Ottawa Senators in an Atlantic Division battle in the nation's capital.
It was a slow start for the Canadiens, who went down 2-0 thanks to goals from Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stutzle, before Cole Caufield scored for the fourth straight game to cut the lead to one.
To spark his team, Montreal Canadiens forward Michael Pezzetta dropped the mitts with Ottawa Senators forward Zack MacEwan. Pezzetta got the better of his opponent in the short tilt, landing several uppercuts, which left MacEwan bloody.
Both Pezzetta and MacEwan received five minutes for fighting and it'll be interesting to see if they'll go at it again anytime soon, especially since the two teams will meet once again on Tuesday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
