There aren't many goalie fights in the NHL anymore unless it's a big battle on ice in Alberta.

There is, however, a lot of competition in the minor leagues, and the rivalry between the two Indiana ECHL teams might have reached a peak.

We got a goalie fight in Indy! Zach Driscoll and Brett Brochu shed the blocker and trapper! #ECHL #GoalieFight

In a spirited brawl between Zach Driscoll of the Indy Fuel and Brett Brochu of the Fort Wayne Komets, the goalies let everything hang out on the ice.

In the latter part of the second period, with 27 seconds left in the game, after the Indy Fuel had taken a 3-1 lead in the game, the goalies began engaging in fisticuffs, after ripping each other's helmets off.

There was a lot of tension between the two as they tried to lay one another out. Although they threw many punches, Driscoll landed more than Brochu.

It was only near the end of the fight that the referees finally broke up the exchange when Brochu attempted to connect on an uppercut and Driscoll attempted to respond.

In the end, it looks as if Driscoll of the Indy Fuel won that bout, what do you think?
