In his heyday former National Hockey League player Donald Brashear was one of the most intimidating enforcers in the league, not afraid of a fight, willing to take anyone on. Fast forward to 2024 and he's still going, something you absolutely love to see.
Last night in a game play in the LNAH, Brashear drops the gloves again at 52 years old and proves he can still throw them pretty good; take a look.
Brashear faced off against Brett Gallant and the two exchanged some pretty heavy blows near centre ice before Brashear eventually went down, taking shot on the way down for his troubles.
Some say fighting doesn't belong in the game of hockey for various reasons, but it's clear a guy like Brashear not only still loves to play the game into his 50's but genuinely enjoys being able to drop the gloves and go for a bit still as well.
