Ryder Boulton drops the gloves with JJ Franceschetti for a spirited fight
It may be the tail end of the preseason in the OHL, but that doesn't mean the fireworks aren't there between the London Knights and Sarnia Sting.
The pre-season, no matter what level is a time for every player to prove their value. The OHL is no different, even if you're a regular in the lineup during the regular season. The rivalry between the Sarnia Sting and London Knights is alive and well, even during a game that doesn't count towards the standings.
Tonight, the two arch rivals are facing off and as expected when they do, the gloves came off and the fists started flying between Ryder Boulton and JJ Franceschetti
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to being the offspring of notes long time enforcer Eric Boulton and Ryder certainly showed that he not only can dominate a fight like his dad, but he's as relentless as Eric was as well. JJ Franceschetti never really stood a chance from the beginning of the fight to the end.
If this is any indication of the season to come, Boulton just put the OHL on notice that he is not a player to be taken lightly
