The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that that a forward will on week-to-week with an injury, causing a massive hole in their lineup.

Yesterday, during the Toronto Maple Leafs practice, forward Calle Jarnkrok left the ice in frustration as he blocked a point shot with his hand.

Today, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, head coach Sheldon Keefe announced that Jarnkrok would be week-to-week with an injury; take a look.

TOR coach Sheldon Keefe says Calle Jarnkrok is week-to-week with a broken knuckle suffered in practice yesterday

Jarnkrok broke his knuckle as a result of blocking the shot yesterday, making him miss a significant amount of time.

This is a bigger loss to the Leafs than most realize, he can play up and down the lineup, play both wings and take faceoff's on occasion as well

Jarnkrok, 32, has played in 46 games for the Leafs this season, scoring a total of 19 points including 9 goals and 10 assists.

As a result, it would seem that forward Ryan Reaves draws back into the lineup after an extended string of absences.
