One of the first things you're taught in hockey is making sure you know where your stick is at all times, but even the best in the world have a hard time keeping track of where their stick goes sometimes, thus high-sticking penalties.
Last night when the Nashville Predators took on the Seattle Kraken, defender Adam Larsson high-stocked predators forward Gustav Nyquist and received a 4 minute penalty, and boy, did he earn it; take a look.
Gustav Nyquist picks his teeth up off the ice after being high-sticked by Adam Larsson.
Larsson will sit for 4 minutes. Can't argue with that one.
As a result, while Larsson went to the box to sit for the double minor, while Nyquist can be seen picking up a few of his teeth off the ice.
I hope Nyquist has a good dentist, he's going to need it.
