The Buffalo Sabres are hosting the Colorado Avalanche and with Buffalo up 3-0, the officials fail to make a call on a rather dirty play that resulted in Cale Makar leaving the game.
In the second period, Kyle Okposo and Cale Makar are racing for the puck, with Makar winning the race Okposo pushed Makar from behind; take a look.
Dirty play by Okposo on Makar
and has not returned.
This is yet about another example of officials not making calls when the play happens right in front of them and as a result, more and more players are going to get away with dirty plays like this.
Makar immediately went down the tunnel and has not returned.
Update: Makar has returned to the game.
