Arber Xhekaj continues to keep making a name for himself as a rookie for the Montreal Canadiens. For an undrafted kid out of juniors Xhekaj continues to reward the Canadiens with his good play and he has demonstrated that he isn't afraid of anyone.

During last night's 4-1 victory over the first place Winnipeg Jets, Xhekaj dropped the gloves with Winnipeg's Adam Lowry in an entertaining fight. Check out the replay below for the fight as both players go at it.

Lowry looked like he landed a few good punches on Xhekaj at the beginning of the fight. After that, Xhekaj landed a few right hands at the conclusion of the fight before falling on top of Lowry. It's fair to say both players landed some shots in this fight. Xhekaj was fired up after the fight as he padded the Canadiens logo while on the way to the penalty box.

It's easy to see why Montreal fans and the team love Xhekaj. His story of making the NHL is one to root for and he brings a tough physical presence to the Canadiens lineup every night. He's stood up for himself and his teammates and he has fought some of the toughest players in the league. Since fighting has really declined over the years in the league, it is refreshing to see a guy like Xhekaj come into the league and entertain fans with his fighting ability. It's proof guys who can fight still can have a role in this league.
