Auston Matthews skating with another team, should Leafs fans be worried?
Players are beginning to work themselves back into game shape. With team's camps set to open next month, players have informal workouts and skates all the time. But while most players keep to themselves or with teammates, today one player was spotted and it has drawn the attention of fans.
Today the Arizona Coyotes players held an informal practice, while other players and local free agents were invited there was one player in particular who caught everyone's attention.
That player? Was Auston Matthews.
Huge group of players on the ice for Coyotes' informal skate today including UFAs and players from other teams such as Auston Matthews, Tage Thompson (local kid), Riley Stillman, Brad Richardson, Ryan Dzingel, Phil Kessel and Mark Kastelic.
This definitely caught the eyes of Leafs' fans. Especially those who are worried that Matthews may take off and head home to the desert when his current contract is over.
Even if Matthews doesn't make the jump it's always nice to see Leafs' fans squirm.
