Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers kick off pre-season with a couple of scraps
The NHL pre-season kicked off today with multiple games. With many players trying to make NHL rosters it often leads to more physical play compared to most regular season games. That's exactly what happened during tonight's game between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers.
As Antoine Roussel came across the blue line he gets caught coming across the middle by Connor Carrick. The hit sent Roussel to the ice and teammate Wade Allison stepped in for a disappointing "fight". On the play Allison was awarded an instigator penalty.
Later in the game AJ Greer and Hayden Hodgson dropped the gloves for an actual tilt. Much to everyone's enjoyment.
