Rivalries in the NHL are what the fans live for. Some are so passionate about their team that they are willing to do things just to defend their teams honour.
The forever rivalry between the Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins is by far one of the biggest in the NHL. These two teams have seen each other in the playoffs more than any other 2 teams and always made for a controversial series.
Two fans decided to take the rivalry off ice as the current rivalry on the ice is a very tamed one at best in the past few seasons. What initiated the altercation? Simply a Boston Bruins fan looking at a Montreal Canadiens. Not in any particular way, simply just looking his way.
The excitement starts after the 1 minute mark in the video.
It's clear these two fan bases don't like each other, but this definitely crossed that line.
