It was not a good night for the Boston Bruins. While trailing 6-2 to the Toronto Maple Leafs, Bruins resident trouble maker Brad Marchand cross checked Toronto Maple Leafs' captain John Tavares in the ribs after the period had ended.
Marchand would then go on to trash talk, while being restrained by the on ice official, it wasn't long before he earned himself a misconduct after chirping something at the referee who had no time to deal with Marchand's antics.
Marchand was recently suspended for punching Pittsburgh Penguins' goaltender Tristan Jarry during a Penguins versus Bruins game. But Marchand knows what makes him most effective also makes him his own biggest enemy.
