Brad Marchand restrained after two-hand slashing Hurricanes' goalie
Frustration has already begun to boil over for the Boston Bruins. Already trailing the 1st round series 1-0 and behind in tonight's game 4-1, the Bruins frustration began to show. During the 2nd period things got heated when Hurricanes back-up goalie Pyotr Kochetkov slashed Brad Marchand.
Marchand who was clearly frustrated himself turned around and after restraining himself momentarily delivered a slash of his own. The slash of course led to a post whistle scrum.
Both Marchand and Kochetkov were given minor penalties for slashing on the play. The Hurricanes can't afford for their goalie to get involved on plays like this. They were already down Frederik Andersen coming into the series and lost Antii Raanta to injury tonight.
