It was eventually released that Marchand was suffering from a significant hip injury that would require surgery.
Today to the Boston Bruins have announced
Brad Marchand underwent hip arthroscopy and labral repair on both hips today.
The expected recovery time is six months, which would have Marchand miss most of the first two months of next season.
