Breaking News - Update on Evander Kane's status for tonight's game after skipping trip for personal reason
Evander Kane and his girlfriend announced the birth of this first child yesterday. Because of the birth Kane was forced to miss traveling with his team from Edmonton to Calgary yesterday.
Kane is currently having one of the best goal scoring playoffs of all-time. Kane currently has 12 goals in 11 games, which leaves him just 7 goals behind the single post-season record held by Reggie Leach and Jari Kurri(19). Today though Ryan Rishaug from TSN the following update about Kane's status:
I'd expect Evander Kane will be available for the Oilers tonight.
The Oilers are in Calgary tonight as they will look to end the series. Their best chance to end that series will be with Evander Kane in the lineup.
