The past few weeks have been a major struggle for those in Los Angeles, with horrendous wild fires ravaging the city as many have lost their homes and unfortunately, some their lives.
While the NHL recently paired with Fanatics to raise money for the victims, they've now made a major announcement through actor Will Arnett, who joined the NHL on TNT crew.
According to Arnett, the NHL and the Los Aneles Kings are coming together to host a Celebrity and NHL All Star Alumni game at some point soon to raise money for those effected by the wild fires over the past few weeks.
At this point, details are very scarce, as no competitors, partners or details have been released, but given the opportunities, several people in the comments of the announcement on social media have volunteered their services for the immense event.
With the business of the NHL booming in recent years, they have the opportunity to do some great work for people in need over the coming weeks and months, and with some major NHL fans among the celebrities of North America, there's a chance this could become a very star studded event.
If you too would like to contribute to the relief of those effected by the fires in Los Angeles the link is below, and with people all across the nation contributing, the event involving the NHL will no doubt be another great event for the league to help out desperate people in need.
