Brock Boeser's family provides a heartbreaking update on his father's health

Brock Boeser has been an open book when it comes to his father, Duke's, health struggles. Brock has shared that his father is his biggest fan and mentioned on multiple occasions how much his father means to him. Today though the Boeser family provided a heartbreaking update about Duke.

Our beloved Duke is skating his last lap around the hockey rink. He is at our home resting. Our family is close by his side. He's had some wonderful visits from family, friends and neighbors. Please pray for his comfort and peace as he makes his way home to our heavenly father. And please pray for our children as this is so very hard for them to let go.

This update was provided by Brock's mother, Laurie.

Duke has been diagnosed with Parkinsons at the age of 49. 2 years later, Duke broke his pelvis in three places, suffered a lacerated spleen, as well as a significant head injury due to a car accident. The blow to the head worsened Duke's Parkinsons.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Boeser Family.
