For over a decade now, Brad Marchand has been a pillar of the Boston Bruins. Now, it appears that he's handing down some important advice for newly signed Bruin Pavel Zacha, who signed as a free agent this summer.
According to Conor Ryan of the Boston Journal who asked Marchand if he had any advice for Patrice Bergeron new linemate.
Just get open. And you don't have to backcheck
Marchand has always been a character who no doubt was trying to be funny here, however, I don't think fans have taken it that way.
Zacha, 25, had 36 points in 70 games with the New Jersey Devils last season including 15 goals and adding 21 assists.
One must think that playing with a playmaker like Bergeron those numbers can only improve as long as he gets open.
