CAA Hockey releases video showcases free agent forward Patrick Kane
Patrick Kane is continuing to work hard towards a return to the National Hockey League after undergoing off-season hip resurfacing surgery, something that's been bothering him for the last couple of years.
Kane is expected to play in the NHL this season, with his destination unknown at this time, but he could be back on the ice with a team sooner than many had expected.
On Tuesday's edition of Insider Trading, TSN's Darren Dreger said that interested teams have begun to contact Kane's agent Pat Brisson, but are wanting more medical information.
"Pat Brisson continues to get requests from some interested teams, from multiple teams, in fact, just wanting a little bit more medical information," said TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger on Tuesday in Insider Trading. "But, I don't believe that Patrick Kane is going to be in a position where he can interview with the select teams until mid-to-late October.
"So, there's still work to get done here."
Then on Wednesday, Kane's agency, CAA Hockey, released a nearly minute-long video of him back on the ice, showcasing that he is getting close to being able to return to the NHL and that his rehab is going quite well.
With Kane's return from injury likely to occur at some point in late-October, which team do you think he'll be lacing the skates up for? Let us know what you think in the poll below!
