Things have not gone well for the Vancouver Canucks this season, we're at the beginning of December and they've already pretty much told teams that they're going to be sellers this year, with both Bo Horvat and Brock Boeser wanting out of the organization, but a suitor for Boeser may surprise you.
According to Rick Dhaliwal of Chek Television and the Vancouver Athletic, the Montreal Canadiens have had a long standing interest in Boeser and want to get him from Vancouver.
Boeser, 25, has 4 goals and 12 assists for a total of 16 points in 22 games for the Canucks this season. His point total is okay, but his goal production has certainly taken a dip.
With Vancouver letting Boeser's management team seek a trade on their own and the relationship between the two sides getting awfully sour, one has to wonder what the going price for him will be.
Oddly enough, knowing what we know about Martin St Louis and his coaching style, I think there's a fit for Boeser in the top 6 there. Not only that, but I think if Montreal does manage to get him, he starts lighting the lamp like he did earlier in his career.
