During the Nashville Predators vs Colorado Avalanche game we saw something that not even Shea Weber, Zdeno Chara or an older reference Al MacInnis have done. At least in the age of social media that is. Pucks have broken glasses but never have we seen a broken crossbar.

Nashville Predators' forward Filip Forsberg blasted a shot towards the Avalanche goal ringing it off the crossbar. The shot was hit so hard a piece of the crossbar broke off, forcing a delay while the ice crew did some makeshift repair work.

The best part was of the whole incident was that the ice crew at the Ball Arena used duct tape to fix the problem instead of bringing in another net. While most teams have extra nets around the facility for practices and game day skates. They don't have the cameras installed should a goal need to be reviewed, not having cameras installed in the crossbar could effect the play review and favor one team.

Forsberg is having a career year with the Predators. He has 42 goals and 41 assists for 83 points in 68 games. The 27 year old Sweden, native is playing out the last year of a six year contract he signed with the Predators in 2016.
