Carey Price has been one of the top tier goalies in the past decade. He's helped steal games on numerous occasions for the Canadiens throughout his career and will continue to be in the discussions of all time best.
Over the weekend, Angela Price took to Instagram to drop some major news on the future of the Price family.
Looks like Carey Price will be calling it quits and moving back home after a good 15 years in the league. Carey Price currently has 3 years left after this season but will most likely stay on LTIR for the added cap relief.
Price's injury has sidelined him since the last time the Montreal Canadiens went to the Stanley Cup Finals and has put a strain on him ever since. An official announcement is expected by the team as the fan base hasn't been quite able to digest this announcement.
Price will have to return to Montreal for his annual physicals, which he isn't expected to pass. Doing so will allow him to continue to collect his annual salary. The return to Kelowna likely marks the end of Price's attempts to rehabilitate his knee injury. Bring to a close one of the best goaltending careers of the past two decades.
