The Philadelphia Flyers made move after move this offseason to try and make their team a contender, but a team plagued with injury and poor play has landed them near the bottom of the Metro division and It looks like captain Claude Giroux has had enough.
Rumours began to spread last week that Giroux had not spoken with his General Manager regarding whether or not he wanted to leave the team to chase a cup elsewhere, but it seems like the teams poor performance has now forced the two to begin that discussion.
If you are a Flyers fan and loved having Giroux on the team, there is some good news. Giroux is on an expiring contract and if his heart and soul is really in the Flyers he can come back in the offseason to a healthy and improved Flyers roster, ready to compete next year!
