Cole Caufield gets tossed through the air by Torey Krug, and then has a funny reaction to it online
Cole Caufield has had an incredible start to this year. The 21-year-old already has 7 goals and 10 points in his first 9 games of the season. Caufield has seemingly shutdown the narrative that he's too small to play in the NHL in less than 100 games.
During yesterday's game against the St. Louis Blues, Caufield notched two goals. One of the major concerns for Caufield though has always been whether his body will hold up against larger competition. Yesterday Torey Krug tested that durability, as the two players headed below the goal line Krug grabs Caufield and tossed him hard into the end boards.
Caufield popped right back up like he has so many other times and continued to play his style unbothered. But after the game Caufield logged onto Twitter to toss his two cents on the hit.
It's become clear very quickly that Caufield is an elite goal scorer and will be for many years. It's also clear he's definitely a good sport and enjoying every minute of his journey.
