David Perron already knows where he wants to play next
Ahh, the off-season, it's a magical time, isn't it? Players get to command more money, walk away from teams they've been with for years, or sign team friendly deals to stay where they are and allow their organization more cap space to build a contending team.
The St. Louis Blues are no different, and from the sounds of it, there's mutual interest between the organization and aging veteran David Perron to continue to stay with the blue notes.
According to Lou Korac, who covers the blues for NHL.com, there's an interest from both parties that would likely see Perron in a Blues uniform next season.
As noted above, Perron, his teammates and management all want him back in St. Louis next season, furthermore, there should be no issue getting a deal done. In fact, I would go out on a limb and say that Perron is likely going to be the next veteran to take a «hometown discount» of sorts.
