Did Jonathan Huberdeau just admit he's not planning on staying in Calgary? One fan thinks so
Jonathan Huberdeau was acquired by the Calgary Flames in a blockbuster deal with the Florida Panthers. The deal sent Huberdeau to the Flames along with other pieces in exchange for Matthew Tkachuk. Since the deal went down Flames fans have wondered what the future might hold for Huberdeau.
Would Huberdeau have any interest in remaining a Flame long-term?
Last week Huberdeau and Flames General Manager, Brad Treliving met for dinner to discuss a possible extension. While Huberdeau has claimed to be open to a deal, he is setup to cash in for a huge payday next summer if he chooses to test free agency.
One fan seems to believe based off of Huberdeau's statement that he doesn't have any intention of staying beyond this year.
