It's he kind of thing no one ever wants to hear. Dylan Larkin of the Detroit Red Wings has announced some personal and heart-wrenching news on his social media.
Just three weeks ago, Larkin's wife Kenzy Wolfe announced on Instagram that she was pregnant, and the baby was due in the Spring of 2024. Unfortunately, the latest update from Larkin says his partner is no longer expecting.
"This week my wife and I said goodbye to our baby. It's hard to find words or positivity in this, but we greatly appreciate your support and understanding, and thank you for respecting our privacy."
Unfortunately for Larkin and Wolfe, this may not have been the first time. Larkin took time away from the Red Wings in November of 2021, saying he had to deal with a family emergency.
"I had to be home for a family emergency. I had to be with my family. It's a private matter."
"It's hard to put into words right now,» Larkin said. «It really is." - Freep.com Our thoughts are with Larkin and his family at this extremely difficult time.
