European Star Meeting With NHL Teams To Discuss His NHL Landing Spot, connected to multiple teams
The Andrei Kuzmenko sweepstakes is heating up, as the most highly-coveted free agent outside the NHL assesses his options.
The highly-skilled Russian winger arrived in Los Angeles last week and is set to meet with shortlisted teams. Kuzmenko will speak with the Canucks this week in Vancouver, and he'll also meet with the Edmonton Oilers and two other US-based teams, according to TSN's Darren Dreger. His decision will be made in the next 10 days, Dreger adds.

In his four seasons with SKA, Kuzmenko went from decent to one of the best players in the KHL. The 5'11» winger finished second in the KHL in scoring this season, with 20 goals and 53 points in 45 games before the KHL suspended the rest of the regular season due to COVID-19. The KHL star is a free agent, but is only permitted to sign a one-year entry-level deal in the NHL � making him very affordable.
