Evander Kane comments on Milan Lucic ahead of Game 2
The Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames are set for Game 2 tonight in Calgary. Game 1 was filled with physical play and multiple narratives that might transfer over to Game 2. One of those narratives is the dislike shared between Milan Lucic and Evander Kane.
During Game 1, Kane was challenged to drop the gloves with Lucic on multiple occasions but he didn't oblige. Ahead of Game 2 Kane was asked about being on the ice with Lucic.
We welcome him on the ice whenever he is.
In Kane's response he was likely referring to the Oilers ability to generate offense with Lucic on the ice, but Kane better watch what he asks for especially if Lucic has his way.
