Evander Kane continues to skirt accountability in his exchange with SJ reporter
Evander Kane has a new team, but he has the same old attitude that has worn thin on every single locker room he's been apart of. Kane continues to display a "Him versus The World" attitude, and it was on full display yesterday during his media availability during his return to San Jose. Kane always had a contentious relationship with the media and it's clear he's in no way looking to change that.
Kane's time in San Jose came to an end in December when the Sharks terminated his contract due to a contractual breach while he was a member of the San Jose Barracudas. Upon his return, rather than acknowledging his short comings Kane had the following to say to reporter Sheng Peng.
"We've continued to beat this dead horse over and over and over again. You seem to continue to want to talk about it over and over again, I'm not even part of the team anymore. You probably write more articles about me than you write about anybody else on the team. So I don't know. I'm not going to get into that. I'm here to play hockey, and you'll continue to make those judgments and write reports."
