In a post on social media, the Hawks shared that former defenceman Brady Grasdal has passed away at the age of 21.
"The Nipawin Jr "A" Hawks family mourns the heartbreaking passing of Brady Grasdal who's tragically ended too soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and many teammates at this time.
May you rest in peace Brady.''
"We regret to announce the passing of Brady Grasdal, at the age of 21.
Grasdal played for the Nipawin Hawks in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) last season."
