Former NHLer reveals that he knows the real reason Corey Perry's contract was terminated and explains what other teams would have done
Today at 2 pm Corey Perry officially cleared waivers and had his contract terminated by the Chicago Blackhawks. This move comes exactly a week after Perry had been removed from the team and instructed to remain at home. Yesterday, Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson spoke to the media for the first time since the news first broke.
While Davidson was very pointed with his comments he refused to release many details, which still allowed fans minds to run wild with the possibilities. Today former NHL player Georges Laraque spoke on the matter for the first time.

This reveal by Laraque gives a great insight into the situation, especially from a player who understands an NHL locker room. Laraque also has the experience to understand what sort of conduct is deemed acceptable.
