It looks like the management shuffles keep on going in the Philadelphia Flyers organization. Everyone knew when Brierè took over, changes were likely to follow.

According to Anthony Di Marco of the Fourth Period, former NHLer and Toronto Maple Leafs' top prospect, Alyn McCauley will be named General Manager of the Flyers AHL affiliate, the Leigh Valley Phantoms:

Nothing official yet, but it's looking like Alyn McCauley will be named the GM of the @LVPhantoms at some point.

He is currently the Director of Player Personnel for the #Flyers.

Although, nothing has been announced officially at this time, McCauley is expected to take the reins over on the AHL.

McCauley is currently the Director of Player Personnel in Philadelphia, if this goes through, it would be a promotion within the Flyers organization.

McCauley, 45, a veteran of 488 NHL contests with a total of 166 points including 69 goals and 97 split between the Toronto Maple Leafs, San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings across 9 seasons.

It seems like McCauley is enjoying more success in a management role with the Flyers organization after his playing days. McCauley was expected to be an impact NHLer but unfortunately he had his career cut short due to concussions, which limited his career.
