Frustrated Connor McDavid throws a shot to the head of Matt Benning
Connor McDavid is the best player in the world, but just like most other players he has a bit of a nasty side to his game. McDavid has had two suspensions and an additional fine over his career. So tonight when McDavid chose to get frustrated and let loose a bit it wasn't much of a shock.
On a play during the second period, McDavid's stick got tangled in the equipment of a Nashville Predator. McDavid was forced to drop his stick as he attempted to retrieve the puck. As McDavid moved towards the puck he was tailed by Matt Benning.
Seeing Benning bearing down on him, McDavid stops up and delivers an upward blow to Benning's chin.
On the play McDavid was awarded a 2-minute penalty for roughing on the play.
