With the NCAA college season nearing a close and the frozen 4 final being played tomorrow, it's award season. It came down to 3 players, but only one takes home the Hobey Baker award as the top player in the NCAA.

According to the Hobey Baker official Twitter account, Michigan Wolverines forward, Adam Fantilli has won the award, take a look:

The Hobey Baker Memorial Award Committee is pleased to announce that Adam Fantilli, a freshman forward from the University of Michigan, has been named the recipient of the 2023 Hobey Baker Memorial Award, hydrated by BioSteel, recognizing the top individual player in college hockey. The announcement was made during a live broadcast on the NHL Network and hobeybaker.com.

Fantilli, 18, played In 36 games for the Wolverines this season, his freshman campaign. He registered 30 goals and 35 assists for a total of 65 points.

Fantilli joins an exclusive club as Paul Kariya and Jack Eichel are the only other freshman to win the award.
