Haydn Fleury goes out of his way to make young fans' dream come true
Have you ever gone to a sporting even to watch your favourite player, only to find out he's injured or scratched from the lineup? Well that's exactly what happened to a young fan in Raleigh, North Carolina yesterday when he went to attended the Hurricanes versus Kraken game.
During his time in Carolina, Haydn Fleury clearly had an impact on some of the local youth and by the look on his face you could tell how disappointed he was to find out he wasn't in the lineup. But thanks to the power of social media, Fleury was made aware of the young man being in the arena and Fleury took the steps to make sure this fan's night was made.
Haydn, who is from Saskatchewan is just another example of the good that many NHLers truly possess when it comes to going out of their way to make a young fans night special.
This is clearly a night this young fan will NEVER forget.
